Meet our Owners........Larry & Paula Kiker
Paula and Larry both arrived on the island over a decade ago, just about the same time actually. They met on the beach during one of the parades and have been together ever since.
Paula came from Bloomington/Normal Illinois where she was born and lived until she moved to Fort Myers Beach. After finishing school in Bloomington, she worked for Country Wide Insurance for 15 years. Since being at Fort Myers Beach, Paula worked several jobs, always aiming for a career in Real Estate. When she finally received her license 7 years ago, she eventually went to work for Lahaina Realty, where she was offered the chance to become the 4th owner of the company. The rest is history.
Larry grew up in New Mexico and later received his MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. He followed a career in management working for major computer companies. About 15 years ago, he gave that up for life on the water, becoming a USCG Captain, providing charters in Fort Myers Beach. After about 10 years, he retired from that occupation to join Paula as an owner of Lahaina Realty. Most recently Larry has been involved in the local government where he is now serving as Vice Mayor for the Town Council.
The rest is history for them. The other history is that Lahaina Realty is not only the oldest Real Estate Company on the Beach, but just had their 40th year anniversary in 2004. Lahaina is proud to be a part of the history of Fort Myers Beach and prepare for the future as well of this island and all of their customers, friends and family. Paula and Larry have committed their time and energy for the Town of Fort Myers Beach, to Lahaina Realty and their community.
